The hand sing Longhorn

  Inside the Gregory Gym in The University of Texas at Austin is located a Texas Longhorns inflatable Mascot, looks like a cartoon mascot, with specifics color burnt orange and white which are the official colors for the University of Texas. Its Longhorn's head gives rise to the school's hand symbol, this symbol is used by the students, the community of the University and the fans employed as a specific greeting, this sign is used too at sporting events, during the playing of the school songs such as   "The eyes of Texas" and "Texas Fight".   This hand sign was developed in 1955 by students at the University who practiced in the Gregory Gym, it was adopted as The University’s official 1 . The students and fans at the same times make the hand sing and make a simple yell, “Hook ‘em Horns!” with hands raised, as shown in this picture of the mascot and me.     1 https://jimnicar.com/ut-traditions/hook-em-horns-hand-sign/

Two of the most magnificent buildings in the University of Texas at Austin

  The University of Texas at Austin, called also UT, It is a public University, located in Austin, Texas.  It was founded in 1883, It is one of America’s top 10 public universities and the best University in Texas, according to the Center for World University Ranking 1 . This University have an amazing architectural constructions at campus. The UT campus is an inmense and beuatiful place, there, you can see several magnificent buildings, the main building is UT tower, on the sides of this tower there are five ancient writing system such as Egyptian hieroglyphic, the Phoenician, Hebrew,Greek  and Latin alphabets.  Some special days it shines with orange lights at night. Also the building that I love architectural details is Gregory Gymnasium,  its beautitul iron doors and trusses, and  the brick type, is a mixture that looks awesome. Both building are the example of the other majestic University buildings than you can found in the UT campus.       1 https://news.ut

The Texas State Capitol

  The   Texas State Capitol  building is located in Austin, Texas  wich  is the seat of government of the American state of Texas, the structure houses the offices and chambers of theTexas Legislature and of the Governor of Texas 1 .   The Texas State Capitol has the neo-renaissance style and is the largest capitol building in the United States. Visiting it on saturday july 16th, 2022  it   was for me an amazing cultural experience, as visitor I observed and enjoyed the impressive structure inside and outside while I learned about the history of Texas and how are Senators and Representatives done their sessions to work with the house of representative in The Texas State Capitol. Through a guided tour I could see the sculptures, paintings about two important battles in Texas history, portraits of the presidents of the republic and the governors of the Texas state are around the four levels of the rotunda, the monumental stairs near the rotunda, and furniture of ancient art located
